This blog is the English translation of “Aerar - Der Gemeinplatz der Politik” which is reporting recent events and thoughts on German politics. As the original blog is in German language I did not find the time lately to translate every post to English. But recently I observed a (slightly) increasing interest in this blog - even though I haven’t posted anything for some months. Maybe it is in connection with my latest activities on my Linkblog which has lead some visitors to this website. Anyway, I think there are so many people speaking English that among those might still be a small fraction interested in thinking of and discussing German politics. So I will continue working then…
